R&J #312 – Cesspool of Angriness

In The DLP Agenda by Matt Bluhm

A comedy cohort (and former show fill-in host) goes nuclear when sees what he thinks is a Game of Thrones spoiler on social media. Joe is exhausted from his politics-filled Twitter feed and the relentless anti-Trump tirade. Joe returns to doing standup over the weekend and inadvertently says something that completely turns the audience against him. The next murder mystery will feature a woman very familiar to listeners, but who has never actually appeared in one of the shows. Another member of the crew proposes a bigger role for himself. A horror convention creates a potential conflict for a new cast member, and Joe is flummoxed when he read the list of “stars” scheduled to appear. One venue is taking liberties with Die Laughing Productions marketing materials and Robby takes issue with it. Katie’s entertaining father is eager to take a puzzling part-time job. Rob just can’t have a certain word in his music and is frustrated by the dwindling availability of the radio-friendly versions of songs.
