R&J #328 – Dramarama

In The DLP Agenda by Matt Bluhm

The Die Laughing crew goes to a karaoke bar after the show, including Robby who is easily coerced into staying up way past his bedtime. The ride to and from the shows can be pretty entertaining (and informative) with a car full of comics. Tommy tells a story about a tragically clumsy ninja and reveals his top three musical acts. Mickey is performing as Richard Pryor for a Halloween show and wonders if he’ll be allowed to transform himself properly to play the part. Joe wonders why his Lyft driver doesn’t have a five-star rating. Joe realizes that Robby’s concerns about the sound booth in Virginia Beach were probably valid. The murder mystery receives a negative review.
Rob is following a news story about a 4-time murderer. Katie’s dad is confused about a feature film now in theaters. Rob is exploring the idea of a Michael Jackson tribute murder mystery, but no jokes of the King of Pop’s underage sleepover friends will be permitted. Eric leaves some artwork behind for the folks at the FunnyBone. Rob is relieved to discover that he probably didn’t piss off his celebrity friend, but Joe is disappointed.
