Wow, I guess Itunes reset the show. Updating this episode got nothing. I finally looked at the Itunes store for Mike Omeara which has no reviews. (so I added one) I had to resubscribe as if this were a new and different podcast?

Mike, Buzz, gas/oil prices are based on the cost of replacing the current supply at what the buyers think the price will be in the future. That’s why it’s called a futures market. It’s always been this way. You’ve got the Iranians making noise plus the Israeli tradition of stirring things up in March, and of course the futures price goes up, so the current supply gets sold at what the expected replacement cost will be. Even if gas dropped to $1.00 a gallon at the pump, (imagine all caps here) the oil companies’ profits wouldn’t go down. Buzz, the “record profits” come from the fact that there is more oil consumed as China, India and other countries become more industrialized. You can bet your bippy that your AFTRA pension plan holds oil stock, so you will profit from it. Bottom line is, it’s NOT “guys in a room”. Take a look. It’s in a book. A Reading Rainbow.
