Loved the discussion on the Terry Jones debacle. Here’s some updates on the matter…
1. Associated Press announced that they will not post any images or video of the burning. Fox News stated they won’t cover the burning either.
2. The FBI paid a visit to Jones Church earlier today, the meeting lasted 30 minutes. The FBI wouldn’t state how their meeting went or reveal any details. Though Jones was rumoured to have stated later in the day that if President Obama called him, he’d consider cancelling the event.
3. The burning has been called off. Terry Jones is quoted by the AP as saying…
“Pastor Terry Jones said Thursday that he decided to cancel his protest because the leader of a planned Islamic Center near ground zero has agreed to move its controversial location. The agreement couldn’t be immediately confirmed.”
