FYI – there is a petsmart a bit closer to us now (im also near old town manassas). Its in the same shopping center as the new target by the manassas airport. A lot easier than going all the way to bull run. Hope it helps!

Mike, sorry to hear about your issue with Frankie’s “issue” today. Chances are he “came down with somethin’ unexpected” since he spent time around 500 dogs. A short crate story…about a month ago I began my day @ 4:00 am and around 5:00 am I went out to feed our Terrier Monty breakfast (he sleeps in his crate at night). What I saw was not typical of Monty – he was huddled in the very back corner of his crate and an unexpected aroma filled the air. I found several “piles” on his bedding and blanket. I started to scream, but how can you when the look on his face was one of “Mommy, please don’t yell at me! I couldn’t help it! Oh, my tummy!”. My normal morning routine was adjusted to deal with sanitizing his bedding, bleaching his crate, and giving him a bath @ 5:00 am. What we believe happened was he may have caught a bug from the dog park where he played with other dogs and fetched tennis balls every day. Since that time, the poor boy hasn’t seen another dog because his Mommy and Daddy don’t want to deal with sick poops again. Maybe throwing out the rug would be a good idea since Buluga has joined in on Frankie’s fabulously festive indoor poop party! Best of luck!

Mike, feed the dog rice and beef or just rice (plain). This will settle the stomach.
