46 Inches of Snow…

2/9/2010 | 50 Comments | Support the Show

Back to the living room for the calm betwixt blizzards. We have our Super Bowl thoughts, Mike lets us see how everything he touches turns to mess, and we offer a rare apology. Hunker down and stay warm, friends!

  1. You have to watch the beginning of the Dirty Jobs when Mike Rowe is on the Star of India. It would make a good audio vault clip. You will know it when you hear it.

Come back to Herndon when there’s not 32.5 inches of snow on the ground…there’s no way I was going to drive home drunk through that! Any other road conditions, sure, but not snow…

I’d totally buy an “I’m not one of you!” T-shirt.

  4. I guess it is time that I told you guys that in my attempt to over support the show I download it 749,999 times a day…..so who is the other listener?

    Love the show

  5. Thanks Mike. The superbowl show really did suck. During the show I couldn’t help but think that if y’all were planing on taking the show in this direction I would have to bail. It’s more romantic and fun to envision your drinking and Buzz’s weed exploits as you describe them, it’s quite another thing to have to listen to y’all when your all obviously extremely F:ed up! This show aside and perhaps the breakfast meats show, keep up the good work guys.

    Gern

  6. Thanks for the apology Mike. As a naysayer on show 45, I otherwise love the show, and I really wish I could have been there. I’ve played Jimmy’s with my band, and we like the place alot.

  7. MOS,
I’ve listen to Mike in one form or another for as long as I can remember. NO APOLOGY REQUIRED (Though I do like the level of professionalism that Mike expects)!!! Working in Blacksburg VA, I love the podcast. I’ve never laughed harder then when I listened to the Super Bowl Show. You make working in a basement breathing lead fumes that much more enjoyable.

    Thanks Guys.

  8. Really enjoy the show. I get why you don’t do 2 hours, but I would guess that once you develop the technology to take calls from the great unwashed we might see an extended version?

At least I hope so. This is the fastest hour on the internets. :)

  9. Great show. No need for apologies. Ever forward.

If you didn’t like the Super Bowl show, then @#$@ you and your families too….now let’s talk about the game.

  10. WOW, MIKE you have just steped up EVEN MORE in my respect book. I already LOVE you and respect you and all of the guys from the show.

While I enjoyed the Superbowl show, I couldn’t listen to the whole thing, wasn’t gonna comment on it, cause I love ya too much, but you bringing it up was so refreshing.

The Buck might stop with you, BUT I’ll go with the Mike O’meara Show ANYWHERE!

THANK YOU for having such for having the standards to address it.
    You guys are top notch!

Don’t sweat the Superbowl show, MAD PROPS for you guys doing the show at all. I’m just so glad you’re on the air (so to speak)
