There was a great episode of “Penn & Teller: Bullsh*t!” about the topic of circumcision, and it states that circumcision started as an attempt to make sex and self-pleasure feel less pleasurable for males and only practical reason to get cut is aesthetics. I’d have to echo that sentiment.
